Discharge System

The drop system is designed for the instant release of backdrops, curtains, decorations, ropes, balloons, or other safe stage props at the desired moment. It also allows for the quick drop of a curtain rolled up on a truss. This system is indispensable for creating a seamless and dramatic performance in theaters, circuses, live shows, ceremonies, and exhibitions — especially for revealing exhibits hidden from view.

For materials without mounting fixtures, special kabuki clamps are used, which can be purchased in our store at a competitive price.

The device is triggered by applying power and is rated for loads up to 20 kg. In the event of a power failure, the system securely holds the curtain, preventing accidental drops. It connects to a 220V mains using a Powercon cable. Multiple units can be linked in sequence to create complex visual effects.

With IP54-certified moisture protection, the internal mechanisms are reliably shielded from water ingress. The kabuki system attaches to trusses of any diameter using an easily replaceable clamp. The unit consists of 10 drop elements, and additional elements can be added if needed.
