LTC-converter
LTC-converter is designed for receiving, transmitting, and converting LTC timecode within a show control system. The device features an LTC input, an output for connection to the Shuttle Control console, a USB connection for power and data exchange with a computer, as well as LED indication for power and input activity.
Description
LTC-converter is a device for integrating LTC timecode into a show control system, with the ability to work both with external signal sources and with a computer. The converter is equipped with an LTC input, an output for connection to the Shuttle Control console, and a USB port used both to power the device and to exchange data with a computer.
When connected to a computer, the converter is recognized as a composite media device, which makes it possible to use it both for inputting timecode into the computer and for sending timecode from the computer to the console via USB. The device supports source-priority operation, ensuring correct switching between inputs depending on the active channel.
For convenient status monitoring, the housing includes three LED indicators: one shows power, the second shows LTC input activity, and the third indicates the presence of a USB signal or connection. This design makes the device convenient for setup, diagnostics, and everyday operation as part of professional show systems.
